Why the Library Needs Friends...

While the library enjoys the benefits of a small amount of local government money, these funds cover only a fraction of our yearly expenses.  The Friends of the Slippery Rock Community Library play an important role through their volunteer hours and fundraising events to ensure that the library meets its main objective of providing services to its patrons.  You an be part of this effort by joining the Friends.

We would appreciate any time that you are able to contribute to the Friends.

We meet quarterly at 6:30 on the first Thursday of the month,  the first month of the quarter. Upcoming meeting dates- January 4, 2024 and April 4, 2024.
